There are four international airports in Taiwan: Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) near Taipei, Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH) in Kaohsiung, Taichung International Airport (TXG) in Taichung, and Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA) in Taipei. Tainan is 305 kms or 189 miles south of Taipei, 49 kms or 30 miles north of Kaohsiung, and 154 kms or 95 miles south of Taichung. CLC recommends that you use Taoyuan International Airport or Kaohsiung Airport to go to Tainan.

Getting to Tainan
1. Landing at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE)
There are three ways to get to Tainan from Taoyuan International Airport:
(1)Bus
It takes about 5 hours to get to Tainan from Taoyuan Airport by bus and costs about TWD570.
(2)Train
It takes about 3.5 to 5 hours by train and costs about TWD440 to TWD680 to Tianan. After arriving Tainan Railway Station, exit from the Rear Station Exit and NCKU Kuang-Fu campus is around the corner.
(3)High Speed Railway
It takes about 2.5 hours and costs about TWD1,250 to Tainan.You can buy tickets at High Speed Railway Station or book them on website. After arriving Tainan Railway Station, exit from the Back Station Exit and NCKU Kuang-Fu campus is around the corner.
2. Landing at Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH)
There are 2 ways to get to Tainan from Kaohsiung International Airport
(1)Train
It takes about 1.5 hour to get to Tainan from Kaohsiung Airport and costs about TWD100~ TWD135.
(2)Shuttle Bus
