Chinese courses for NCKU International Degree Students (CIDS)
Starting from 2006, the Office of International Affairs (OIA) provides two semesters of free Chinese courses for NCKU International Degree Students (CIDS) in order to help foreign students improve language proficiency and adapt to the new environment.

Course Content
On average, Chinese Language Center offers 19 courses ranging from Level 1 to Level 8 every semester. The course period is based on NCKU’s academic weeks. CIDS courses may count as Chinese language credits (two credits per semester) that International undergraduate students are required to complete during their period of study at NCKU.
